Hospitals are trying ti improve the HCAPSHS patient satisfaction by providing multiple approaches one of the ways hospital is trying to improve is by improving the communications with the patients, one example of this is by implementing hurly nursing rounds, where nurses usually check on the patient, and focusing on providing the patient with the comfort they need in a ways that they can like check to see the patient pain levels, weather they need to clean up the patient, position this leads to fewer complains and thus improve the patient satisfaction level.
Another way to improve the communication that most hospital using is making a follow up calls by the RNs. This by calling 48 hour after the discharge the HCAPHS survey rate were increasing in 2 studies.
