Overview
Feedback is an essential component when supporting others in carrying out services. For this assignment, you will evaluate the feedback given in five separate scenarios and discuss strategies for providing feedback in your future career.
Your instructor will provide you with five scenarios for use in this assignment.
Instructions
Complete the following for each scenario using the Providing Feedback Template [DOCX]:
Identify the ratio of corrective versus affirming statements.
Describe one aspect of the feedback that went well.
Describe one aspect of the feedback that could have been improved upon.
Provide one suggestion to improve the feedback.
Using your textbook and/or other peer reviewed literature in behavior analysis, discuss critical elements of feedback and how you plan to deliver feedback effectively to promote performance growth. (Approximately one page or three paragraphs.)

Be sure to complete the self-assessment grading rubric included in the template.
Additional Requirements
Written Communication: Writing should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.

Resources: At least three scholarly or professional resources.

Identify the ratio of affirming statements to constructive statements correctly for four out of five scenarios.
Accurately describe something that went well for four out of five scenarios.
Accurately describe something that went poorly for four out of five scenarios.
Provide a suggestion to improve the feedback for four out of five of the scenarios that is aligned with best practices in the literature.
Competency 3: Apply compassionate approaches to supervisory practices.
Provide a plan to deliver feedback compassionately and effectively.
Competency 4: Communicate in a manner that is scholarly and consistent with expectations for professionals in the field of psychology.
Demonstrate an academic writing style through well-organized prose that follows assignment guidelines.
Demonstrate compliance with APA citation and referencing guidelines.
Include a self-assessment grading rubric that is mostly accurate, with few errors.
